Please estimate volunteer hours from July 07 through June 08. Do not include Holly Avenue PTA meetings or First Day Packet Stuffing hours. We already have those hours recorded. You must be a PTA member to record your hours. Keep in mind that your volunteer hours should include ALL PTA related participation at school or in the community. Some examples are:
Service on the Executive Board
Service on all PTA committees
Room Mom activities (Calling parents for party supplies, making & distributing flyers for party supplies, time spent buying party supplies & teacher gifts, party time)
PTA reps for AEF, Child Health Council, etc (all PTA reps for community groups outside of Holly Avenue).
Book Fairs
5th grade party (including the trip and party, phone time, time you will spend on fundraising activities, time spent buying and baking for fundraisers).
5th grade yearbook (all yearbook activities, including gathering/taking photos).
Honorary Service activities
Newsette (including time spent writing articles)
Measure I volunteer time
Remember ALL time spent on PTA related activities counts. This includes:
PTA related travel: time spent traveling to stores to buy supplies for PTA, PTA committees, events, parties, etc.
PTA related phone time: calling committee members, calling on supplies, gathering information, calling parents for room party supplies, Measure I phone time, etc.
PTA related paperwork time: time preparing, making, photocopying and distributing flyers, agendas, minutes, notices, forms, correspondence, reports etc.
PTA related e-mail time
PTA convention attendance (except time spent shopping and eating)
